Official Dentists to the Mile of Music Artists
At Romenesko & Romenesko Family Dental Studio, our priority is to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. We focus on educating patients regarding their dental options and help them make decisions that will benefit their overall health.
Dr. Rick established Romenesko Family Dentistry in 1978, with his brother, Dr. Jeff, establishing his own practice in the same building on Meade Street in 1981. They constructed the current building on Evergreen Drive in 2005, which now houses 14 operatories, 2 labs, several administrative offices, and a spacious reception area and waiting room. In 2007 Dr. Rick added his son, Dr. Michael, to his practice and in 2015 Dr. Ben joined Dr. Jeff's practice after practicing in Madison, WI.
The Romenesko Family has a strong presence in the Fox Valley dental community with 7 family members practicing dentistry throughout the area. We are very passionate about serving our community not only through dentistry but also by sponsoring events and donating to organizations throughout the Fox Valley and Wisconsin. In 2016, the staff at Romenesko Family Dentistry donated over $25,000 in free dental work to the Mile of Music Artists. We are also happy to provide no-cost dental care to inner-city youth involved in Milwaukee's Future Urban Leaders - a non-profit organization started by Dr. Jeff's son, Ross Romenesko. In addition, the family has sponsored juvenile diabetes events through JDRF for the past several years.

The ADA recommends patients visit their dentist at least once every 6 months to ensure proper oral health and functionality. Regular check-ups, cleanings, and maintenance help to prevent serious dental problems that may require more extensive and costly treatments.
Crowns are used to 'cap' or cover a damaged tooth to provide strength and/or improve its appearance. A veneer is a layer of material placed over the visible part of a tooth to improve the aesthetics of a smile.
Refers to crowns, bridges and dentures which are either cemented, screwed or snapped onto dental implants. An impression of the implant is taken, allowing the dental laboratory to fabricate the implant restoration.
Our dentists are all certified Invisalign experts. Ask about a free consult for this great alternative to traditional braces. Straighten your teeth and improve your smile while wearing virtually invisible aligners.
When the dental pulp of a tooth becomes inflamed or infected from an injury or deep cavity, a root canal is typically performed. A small opening is made and the pulp is removed and filled with a material while the healthy outer structure of the tooth remains intact.
Effectively restores the smile of people with stained, dull, or discolored teeth and can last as long as five years. The Zoom whitening process used in our office is not only proven to whiten teeth up to eight shades, it's also very safe.
Our goal is to help you minimize the risk of emergency treatment by designing a lifetime treatment plan that will help you to offset the possibility of unforseen pain or tooth breakage. However, in the event of a dental emergency we are always here for you.
For patients missing some or all of their teeth we offer fixed partial dentures (bridges), flexible or metal framework partial dentures, and acrylic complete dentures. Dentures can help you to speak and eat with more ease and to appear younger by restoring your smile.

Dr. Michael Romenesko, DDS
Dr. Michael Romenesko, a graduate of Xavier High School, received his dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2007. “Dentistry interested me at a young age as I find it to be a unique blend of science and artistic talent. My professional areas of interest include comprehensive patient care, patient education, cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. I enjoy helping patients make informed decisions that best suit their individual needs.” Dr. Michael and his staff strive to make every patient know they are cared for and respected. “My favorite part is visiting with patients and getting to know them personally. I have met so many great people over the past 10 years and I try my hardest to make their time at our office as enjoyable as possible.” Outside of dentistry, Dr. Michael enjoys music, soccer, art and spending time with his wife and two sons. Once a former collegiate soccer player at UW-Madison, he now enjoys coaching his sons. An avid musician, he's played Summerfest and performed with several bands and recording projects.
Dr. Benjamin Romenesko, DDS
Dr. Benjamin Romenesko is thrilled to join the family tradition of providing excellent dental care at Romenesko Family Dentistry. Dr. Ben graduated from Appleton's Xavier High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He followed in the family tradition when he graduated cum laude from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Ben practiced in the Madison area before he moved back home to Appleton in 2015 to join Romenesko Family Dentistry full-time. He likes to stay current on new, cutting-edge treatments in the dental field and has completed certifications in Invisalign treatment, a wonderful alternative to braces, and recently attended courses in California for complex implant restoration. Outside the office, Dr. Ben and his wife, Kate, are avid music fans and try to watch as many live shows as possible each year in Appleton and across the country. He also loves to grab a book and read with his daughter, Emma. "I am extremely proud and grateful to continue the excellent tradition of going above and beyond for the patients of Romenesko Family Dentistry."
Dr. Callie Romenesko, DDS
Dr. Callie Romenesko grew up in Burlington, WI and graduated with honors from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2006. She completed a residency at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in 2007. “I had a wonderful dentist growing up who led me to this profession very early on. Dentistry is a unique blend of using both art and science in a way to help others.” Since moving to Appleton, she practiced in town for 12 years before joining Dr. Michael upon Dr. Rick’s retirement in 2018. “Working alongside my husband, Dr. Michael, has been such an amazing experience. I’m so proud to be taking over Dr. Rick’s spot in the office. I’ve got big shoes to fill and I’m committed every day to carrying on the strong tradition of excellent patient care that Dr. Rick established over 40 years ago.” Dr. Callie prides herself on taking extra time with patients to help them understand their treatment needs and allowing them to feel comfortable during their time with her in the office. She’s an active volunteer at her sons’ school and in community soccer. She enjoys running and fitness and spending time with her family.
Dr. Jeffrey Romenesko, DDS
- Retired -
Dr. Jeff Romenesko attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and received his DDS degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1981. His professional interests include endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. “There is nothing more satisfying than relieving a patient’s symptoms and providing them with a healthy smile.” When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jeff enjoys building things larger than teeth. He recently completed an addition to his garage, doing the work himself, to house a woodshop. He also enjoys golf, biking, reading, and entertaining. He is the lead singer in Baba Ghanooj, a local rock cover band. “I celebrated my 35th year in practice and reflecting on how much dentistry has changed gave me a sense of satisfaction in my choice of profession. Having family in the field is really a benefit for all of us, including patients, because there is always dialogue about treatment planning, treatment options, and the ever changing landscape of dental practice. It ensures that all of us remain current in the practice of dentistry."
"With a large family of six children, we can assure that Romenesko Family Dentistry definitely treats people of all ages well. Our children look forward to going to the dentist due to all the personal attention and fun items (like "glove balloons" with funny faces) that they receive. And we look forward to all the help we receive with convenient scheduling, reminders and updates for our busy lifestyle."
